Kerstin Bischl will present KoDaNetOst at the First Nationwide Science Forum on Central Asia, organised by the Martin Luther University.
The aim of the event will be to inform the German scientific community about cooperation potentials in Central Asia and to initiate the establishment of a nationwide network.
Rector Prof. Dr. Claudia Becker will welcome the more than 180 representatives from research, politics and research funding and made clear the strong connection of the MLU with Central Asia. There are many challenges in the countries: from demographic and economic developments to questions of water and food security as well as energy supply to global developments such as climate change.
