The 15th International Conference of the International Society for Third Sector Research (ISTR) will take place in Montreal from July 12-15, 2022. This year’s overall topic will be: “Navigating In Turbulent Times: Perspectives and Contributions from the Third Sector”.
At the panel for “Migrant Integration: democratic practices”, Dr. Piotr Goldstein will present his paper ‘Migrant Activism: Between Public Protest and Everyday Engagement’. He will discuss alongside Beth Lovelady (University of Münster – ‘Bridging the Gap – A Comparative Case Study of Seattle and Cologne’s Migrant Integration Policy’) and the co-authors Neda Moayerian, Nada Berrada, Max Stephenson and Desiree Poets (‘The Arts and Individual and Collective Agency in A Brazilian Favela’).
