Against the backdrop of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine and its broader implications for Europe and the global order, the event Osteuropaforschung und Friedens– und Konfliktforschung im Austausch will aim to strengthen networking and new forms of cooperation between scholars. The event will take place on 11–12 December at ZOiS and will be jointly organized with Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), with funding from the German Foundation for Peace Research. Scholars will discuss how closer and more systematic cooperation could address shared research, methodological, and ethical challenges in the context of war.
Many members of KonKoop will participate in the event, actively contributing to the discussions. KonKoop will be also presented by Kerstin Bischl, outlining its research profile and ongoing work.
