At the “Early Career Workshop” at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, early-stage researchers will be engaging with current debates and approaches in the field of political science. As part of the program, Géza Tasner, PhD student and Research Associate at the Institute for Political Science / Chair of International Relations, will deliver a presentation offering insights into his ongoing research. The workshop will provide a platform for academic exchange, critical discussion, and networking, encouraging participants to reflect on their own work within a broader scholarly context.

The event’s goal is to bring together young researchers and provide an opportunity to present and discuss PhD dissertation projects. The participants are able to represent a wide spectrum of research interest and sessions will be delivered on topics such as the politics of memory in post-conflict societies, the role of patronal networks in regional development projects in the Russian Far East, nostalgia and transition in the Republic of Moldova among others.
