Bio

Nafisa Mirzojamshedzoda is a doctoral researcher at the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE), Faculty of Forest and Environment. She completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and Anthropology at the University of Heidelberg and received her Master’s degree from the University of Marburg and Sogang University in Seoul. During her entire studies, she received a scholarship from German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and completed a cultural voluntary service of the German Commission for UNESCO at the DAAD Information Centre in Riga, Latvia. Before starting her PhD at HNEE, Nafisa worked as a consultant at German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and as a research assistant at the Centre for East European and International Studies (ZOiS)
