This full-day workshop will put into dialogue several themes within Peace and Conflict Studies including (in)security, memory politics, state-building, sovereignty projection, and border-making. The workshop will address how different sub-regions of Eastern Europe broadly understood face similar challenges and attempt to work out their own solutions to them. The program includes three sessions, one roundtable, and an interactive format “Tour de table” with presentations by KonKoop PhD-researchers. Each session looks at different types of conflict, at different scales and through the lens of different disciplines thus providing a fertile ground for cross-case comparison and debates.
